Empowering Self-Healing Through IFS Education and Support.
Our mission is to empower individuals to master self-therapy with Internal Family Systems (IFS) through education, support, and encouragement. We provide programs, articles, videos, guided meditations, 1-on-1 IFS sessions, life-coaching, and comprehensive training for aspiring IFS-based life coaches.
Hi. I'm Conor McMillen.
I received training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy in 2014 at the IFS-Institute, founded by Dr. Richard Schwartz. As an IFS-trained life coach, I am dedicated to helping others heal and grow through this powerful method.
My background includes struggles with depression, anxiety, and addiction. When I discovered Internal Family Systems in 2012, I was desperate for change. Over the course of a year, I taught myself how to use the transformative protocols that IFS offers. The incredible changes I experienced inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others achieve similar results through self-therapy using IFS.
Since my training, I have accumulated thousands of hours of IFS work with both myself and my clients. While I continue to offer 1-on-1 services, I am also passionate about empowering individuals to become their own IFS guides. This passion is reflected in my YouTube videos, this blog, and The Complete Self-Led IFS Program.
Additionally, I offer comprehensive training for coaches and aspiring coaches. Based on the IFS principle of self-leadership, this training combines internal IFS work with external action steps to create a life-changing experience for your clients.
I love this work and am incredibly passionate about it. Thank you for being here and trusting me with your time.
Credentials & Experience
My Approach
What I do: I do experiential work, not talk therapy. My job is to help you have a potent, direct experience of your own inner world — and then teach you how to do this work on yourself, for yourself. I'm not interested in keeping clients for years with no real progress. The goal is for you to need me less over time, not more.
What I believe: All of this work is designed to give us a path to feel our feelings more deeply. IFS is a tool — not a messiah, and not the end-all-be-all of healing and thriving. It's the best tool I've found for building a steady relationship with your own inner world, and it works when it's structured, paced, and held within reasonable limits. It is not a substitute for therapy in acute situations.
Who I work with: People who are ready for experiential work — with addictive behavior, depression, anxiety, or relationship strain. I work with individuals and with couples.
What I don't do: I don't work with active psychosis, active suicidal ideation, or acute trauma without an existing therapeutic relationship. If any of these are present, the right next step is a licensed mental health professional — and I'm happy to help you think through finding one.
